We begin from intersection of Vladimir Lenin and Karl Marx Streets, walking past the KGB headquarters hidden between kindergartens, and schools. Visit Tiraspol’s main square, War Memorial dedicated to 3 wards and 1 catastrophe, the largest Lenin statue, a historic WWII tank and the House of Soviets. In Summer you are welcome to swim with locals in River Dniester on one of the isolated abandoned beaches.
Optional extras include shopping for Soviet-era souvenirs, trying local “Made in Pridnestrovie” products, enjoying a meal at a Soviet-style canteen, or sharing tea/coffee with locals at their home.
