Fantastic Accommodation & Tours in Tiraspol
Red Streets Cycling Tour
Option 1
Join us for an unforgettable cycling adventure in Pridnestrovie (formerly Transnistria), one of Europe’s last Soviet time capsules. This tour takes you through historic cities, rural villages, and cultural landmarks, offering a rare glimpse into daily life in the unrecognized country - Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR).
We begin our ride in Tiraspol, the de facto capital of Transnistria, cycling past 25 October Square, the Parliament Building, the historic WWII Tank, the House of Soviets, and Gagarin Square. As we continue, we’ll pass key landmarks such as the Russian Embassy, the National Bank, the Sheriff Supermarket, and the bustling Green Market, where locals trade fresh produce and goods. We will than visit the old soviet fighter jet monument in Balka region as well as the state propaganda

Option 2: continue cycling to Benderi town.
We leave Tiraspol behind and take a special trip over the Dniester River on an old Soviet-era military ferry, a novel experience that links us to the Soviet and religious past of this region. On the opposite bank of the river, we reach the Kitkani Village, which houses the stunning Noul Neamț Monastery, an Orthodox complex famous for its golden domes and spiritual atmosphere. We will also visit the House of Culture, where a prominent statue of Lenin stands proudly.

We continue our journey amidst rolling fields, typical Soviet-era dachas, and the quaint village of Merenesti, where time appears to have stood still. We then arrive in Bender, a city steeped in history on the Dniester River banks. Here, we'll visit Bender Fortress, an Ottoman fortress from the 16th century, before cycling through the city to view the main square, principal civil war points from the 1992 war, the Revolutionary Train, and the House of Culture.

The tour ends with a picturesque cycling back to Tiraspol.
